I can easily spot the pee stain from my Syrian hamster, which helps me do spot cleaning. No smell and the dust is minimal.

Niteangel aspen shavings are so much better for my mice as there is a lot less dust. I have noticed that the mice have stopped wrinkling their noses and it is much better for their respiratory systems. More expensive than the shavings at the pet shops but well worth it. It is more absorbent and does not smell, I would highly recommend it for all small pets.

Soft and dust free, just wish it wasn’t as expensive as only does 1/4 of a 100x50 hamster enclosure so need at least 3 bags of this. Thankfully I was only using this as a top up after a spot clean.

Been trying to find a aspen bedding for years for hamsters, so was very happy to find this one finally because he loves wood shavings. Make sure to be VERY careful when dissolving it into the cage as i did come across many long sharp hard pieces of wood which could poke your hamsters eye out or body when burrowing, so just check every handful veryyyy carefully. Looks great and smells great i bought x2- 8mm which is perfect plus with my paper shredded bedding fills up quite well,(i may buy another). Ive a 332L tank so youd need to buy x4 of these to get a good amount of deep bedding plus another substrate to seperate the levels perhaps.. need a good 12inch deep bedding or more for the hammie. Thanks!

Great product, no dust particles when spreading it out. Also it is soft for the hamster to burrow in. My hamster now hates any other bedding.

Best aspen shavings for bedding

Good bedding if you have a hamster who likes to create mini metros.

Amazing quality. So soft with no sharp pieces to stab my little Dwarf when she’s tunnelling. This compared to ordinary Wood Shavings is like night and day. My only gripe is, I would have preferred to have gotten just a little bit more for money spent.

This bedding is so much softer than other chippings or wood bedding I have bought. The only reason I have marked it at 4 stars is for the price it’s expensive for the small amount you get and as I have a tank it doesn’t fill up enough so other substrates are used. Saying this I will still purchase as my hamster likes burrowing through and it’s softer on her face and body.
