Niteangel Forest Moss Soft Natural Moss Bedding Nesting for Small Pet

LOVE. Makes the enclosure look amazingg it's giving Victoria Raechel on youtube which honestly is the goal for any hamster owner.

The moss is lovely. It does come apart quite easily which is good so you can break it up and put it in different places across the enclosure. I used it on a piece of bark to give it more of s natural look.I put the moss in the freezer for 2 days to ensure any bugs will be wiped out before I opened it and so far no issues with bugs. It does smell quite strong but that's expected because it is moss.Delivery was meant to be in March but it came much quicker!

My baby love it and use it to make his bed! Very soft and visually look like a little forest soil. Looks more natural for my dwarf hamster.

I didn't expect the packaging to be so big, but very satisfied, my hamster loves it when i scatter foods in em and he just starts foraging and ends up sleeping in it, and when he leaves the spot he leaves his round self shape on it too.

Super soft moss, which adds a different texture to my hammie's enclosure. There was quite a lot in the pack, but I do think it was a little on the expensive side.

Has arrived.Not used yet. But will be placed in new set up over weekend.This is expensive over your locally purchased moss. But my local moss made me ill..Hoping this will be better.

I was a little unsure about purchasing this, was looking for something different to give our Syrian Hamsters some more variety for their cages. Never bought moss before.This stuff is quite pricey for what you get but does seem to be good quality and the Hamsters really enjoy collecting it up for bedding when we leave it on things like on top of their houses etc. You would need many bags of it though if you wanted to decorate like they show in the description images. Just a bit for something different now and then works well.

I have put this in my canary’s cage with wood chips and long grasses so she can forage through it. She doesn’t eat it but does move it around and looks underneath it for millet seeds and dandelion/marigold flowers which I scatter for her. It’s changed every day but I just use a handful so bag is going to last a while. I have also put some around my houseplants as it looks really nice and keeps moisture in. I will buy some more of this.

A little expensive but it's a large enough bag and I have not had any issues with the moss so far. My hamster seems to enjoy it which is always a plus. I did throw it in the freezer for 24 hours before using it just in case there were any bugs or mites in there and would recommend that others do the same. Keep in mind that it does smell quite strongly of moss but it's not noticeable if you're not directly sniffing it.

I ordered this moss in order to give additional texture and enrichment to my little girl’s cage and to make safe some wooden stick tunnels I had to prevent tiny toes and feet getting stuck.It was nice quality moss, hamster 🐹 safe and ready to use for the purpose I needed as you can’t have damp or wet things in a hamster cage so I would not just or soak prior to use.The only problem is the price for what I received. If this was the best quality i could get for my money then I would happily have paid it as I believe as a pet owner it is my duty when taking on the responsibility of a little creature to give them the best I can. But sadly it wasn’t. I visited a local reptile pet store and found that in fact I could buy moss of equal quality for half the price for the volume I received here. As a result I invested wisely at that time and returned this product. This is why I have taken a star off for the item.Niteangel products are excellent quality, they provide a good hamster friendly range and I have others I would pay for without hesitation but this one proved pricey for what I got compared to other suppliers I could purchase from.That said, should I find myself in need of more moss quickly and my alternative source could not provide me with the same moss I purchased from them previously I would definitely re-order. 🙂

I love this moss. It's good for the gerbils to use as part of their bedding and it also makes the tank look so pretty
